It started like any other rideshare.
A Gideon and his wife called for a driver after arriving at the airport. The trip was short—just enough time for a few polite exchanges. But instead of small talk, they chose to do something different.
They began sharing words of witness, speaking about Jesus and the hope found in the Gospel. Their driver, Sean, listened. And something about that conversation stayed with him.
When they arrived at their destination, Sean wasn’t ready for the conversation to end. He asked a question that changed everything: “Can we meet again and talk more about this?”
The next day, he returned to pick them up. During that drive, the conversation continued. Sean asked questions. He opened up about his own background and beliefs. And he listened carefully as they shared more about Christ.
Still, it didn’t feel finished. So he came back again. For the next three days, they had multiple conversations as Sean’s heart opened to the Gospel.
As they talked on their final ride, Sean clearly understood—for the first time—what it meant to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
And there, during that drive, he prayed. A life changed. A heart opened. Today, Sean is attending church with his wife and continuing to grow in his faith.
Encounters like this don’t happen by accident.
