I didn’t care if I lived or died

From an early age, Ryan Ries was exposed to the allure of sin. As a young adult, he found himself far from God. Temptation grabbed hold of him, and Ryan followed it to extremes. Ryan was thriving in his career, experiencing every comfort and worldly pleasure, but he was decaying within.

Following a drug overdose in Panama City, Panama, Ryan found a Gideon-placed Bible in his hotel room. During his flight home from Panama to Los Angeles, he read it intently. When he landed, he was changed. He felt peace as never before.

Ryan asked the Lord to deliver him from his many addictions, seeking to surrender everything in exchange for a new life with Christ. Ryan now travels the world, speaking of the grace and mercy of God. His passion is to share how Jesus Christ is better than anything Earth can offer.
